Benchmark International, the pre-eminent global specialist in mergers and acquisitions, seeks an enthusiastic and highly skilled Business Development Specialist to support our dynamic and growing Mid-Market Team. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate initial outreach efforts and schedule meetings between prospective clients and our Mid-Market Origination Directors. Your expertise in business development, market research, and relationship management will directly impact the successful acquisition of new engagements. 

Responsibilities 

To excel in this role, you will: 

  • Proactively initiate and manage outreach through phone calls and emails to prospective business owners, arranging introductory meetings. 

  • Build and nurture positive, professional relationships with prospective clients through ongoing phone and email communication. 

  • Monitor, document, and report the outcomes of scheduled meetings. 

  • Conduct targeted market research to analyze market dynamics and build comprehensive and precise prospect lists as needed 

  • Work cooperatively with our Mid-Market Team to refine outreach processes, contributing innovative strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all communications and records. 

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate brings: 

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred). 

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in business-to-business (B2B) development roles, specifically interacting with business owners and C-level executives. 

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, adept at cold calling and professional email interactions. 

  • Proven capability to manage high-volume communication and multiple competing schedules effectively. 

  • Exceptional organizational skills, with zealous attention to detail. 

  • Ability to utilize CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, email systems, automation tools, and AI-driven applications effectively. 

  • Professional appearance and adherence to professional dress standards. 

  • Ability to secure a Florida real estate license within 90 days of employment. 

  • Availability to work full-time in-office Monday through Friday. 

Salary

As a member of the this team, you will receive an annual salary of $50,000 plus uncapped commission. (On Target Earnings of approximately $50,000 - $62,000 plus).
